For a smooth booking process, please carefully read the instructions on this page and follow the steps in the order they are listed.

To secure your appointment, you will be required to provide a valid credit card (the card will NOT being charged ahead of time). This is held on file per our cancellation and no-show policy, which is outlined below. You will receive an email from our team confirming all the necessary details, including the date, time, address, and preparation instructions.

Step 1.

Please book your evaluation. This is an essential first step for anyone considering keratopigmentation and will determine your eligibility for the procedure. This will book your appointment at our New York City location.

Step 2.

Recommended: Book your surgery for the next day after your evaluation. A mandatory post-op exam is required the morning after your procedure—please plan your trip accordingly. If you do not book your surgery the next day after the evaluation, your evaluation results are valid for 9 weeks only.

Recommended: To speed up your evaluation appointment, we recommend you fill out this intake form before arriving to our office.

Pricing & Payment

Consultation Fee:

$300 (non-refundable, but credited toward the procedure).

Procedure Cost:

$12,000 (full payment required before the procedure).

Cancellation Policy:

Keratopigmentation Candidacy Evaluation (KCE):

Cancellation/Rescheduling Policy: Written notice must be provided at least 48 hours in advance.
Late Cancellation/No-Show Fee: $300
To cancel or rebook, please use the “View Details” link in your confirmation email.
Rebooking Requirement: A new $300 deposit will be required for any missed or late-cancelled appointments.
Note: Only one $300 deposit will be applied toward the final cost of your Keratopigmentation procedure.

Keratopigmentation Procedure (KTP):

If your KTP is not booked for the next day immediately following your KCE, cancellations or rescheduling requests must be submitted via email or text at least 48 hours in advance.

Late Cancellation/No-Show Fee: $1,500

Preparing for Surgery Day

Medications & Eye Drops

Bring prescribed eye drops (provided at consultation) to your appointment.
Do NOT use drops before surgery; usage instructions given afterward.

Transportation

Arrange reliable transportation—you cannot drive yourself home after surgery.

Personal Hygiene & Care

Avoid eye makeup, lotions, perfumes, colognes, and hairsprays on surgery day.

Post-Surgery Essentials

Stock preservative-free artificial tears (e.g., Systane PF, Refresh PF).
Bring sunglasses (your eyes may be sensitive to light afterward).

Appropriate Clothing

Wear comfortable, non-shedding clothing.

Food & Drinks

Eat a light breakfast on the day of surgery.
Avoid caffeine (coffee, energy drinks).
Take your regular medications unless specifically advised otherwise.

Arrival & Procedure Day

Arrive punctually; inform the clinic immediately if delayed.
Confirm receipt of your eye color simulations before arriving.
Listen carefully and follow surgical staff instructions during your visit.

After Your Surgery

Immediate Follow-Up:
- Attend your next-day follow-up appointment.
- Brief, painless assessment: visual check and comfort evaluation.
- Contact lens removal by Dr. Movshovich.
- Clear instructions given for continued aftercare at home.
